4B Drops New EP On Mad Decent
4B has had a monstrous 2016 from playing Coachella to the limelight of EDC Las Vegas with a special guest appearance from Soulja Boy. Recently he continues the hot streak going with a new three-track EP, Weapons 2.0 — a display of his high-octane Trap perspective out now on Diplo’s Mad Decent.
Weapons 2.0 is cloaked in darkness, more light-off music than sunny festival tunes. The arsenal begins with “Carnival” featuring Bunji Garlin, and follows by bringing the Hard Trap sound into the mainstream with a collab alongside Duckworthsound titled “Bring In The Drums.” The EP concludes with a frantic Miami bass style cut known as “Fire,” worked with D-John. Overall, the EP is a nice body of work and a breath of fresh air from 4B’s usual Jersey Club style material. Enjoy!
